Nephrology is a branch of medical science that deals with function and diseases of the kidneys and it focuses on the analysis and treatment of kidney diseases. The kidneys are paired retroperitoneal organs that lie at the level of the T12 to L3 vertebral bodies. The kidney has a fibrous capsule, which is surrounded by pararenal fat. The kidney itself can be divided into renal parenchyma, containing of renal cortex and medulla, and the renal sinus containing renal pelvis, calyces, renal vessels, nerves, lymphatics and perirenal fat.

A Rheumatologist is a physician who focuses in the field of medical sub-specialty called rheumatology. Rheumatology is a medical speciality surrounding the full range of rheumatic disorders counting common diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Less common diseases such as enclosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and autoimmune conditions such as lupus and scleroderma are also included.

The field of cardiorenal medicine is massive, hastily increasing, and complex. Conventional nephrology training programs provide the fellows with the necessary core knowledge to deliver general care for patients with renal and cardiovascular diseases. However, there is a need for focused training of interested physicians to master the specialized aspects of these exceedingly common clinical scenarios and optimize the care of such patients. A cardio nephrology-focused training can add value to the nephrology subspecialty and possibly increase its attractiveness for a significant subset of trainees

Nephrology is a class of medicine that deals with the contaminations of the kidneys and bladders and it concentrate on the analysis and action of Nephrology maladies. The kidneys are matched retroperitoneal organs that lie at the level of the T12 to L3 vertebral bodies. The kidney has a fibrous capsule, which is encompassed by Para renal fat. The kidney itself can be separated into renal parenchyma, comprising of renal cortex and medulla, and the renal sinus containing renal pelvis, calyces, renal vessels, and nerves, lymphatic and per renal fat. This renal parenchyma has two layers: cortex and medulla.

Track 05:  Clinical Nephrology

Clinical Nephrology involves medical treatment of kidney diseases and conditions. This may entail working with other areas of the body that also are partial by the kidneys. Kidney problems can cause electrolyte disparities in the bloodstream, resulting in serious symptoms including excess fluid in the tissues, mental confusion or irregular heartbeat. Clinical nephrology also can help patients who have high blood mass, because hypertension can be destructive to the kidneys.

Nephrology nurses use the nursing progression to care for patients of all ages who are suffering, or are at risk for, kidney disease. Nephrology nursing involves both a preventing disease and an evaluating the health needs of patients and families. Care spans the life cycle and involves patients who are facing the real or threatened impact of acute or chronic kidney disease; therefore nephrology nurses must be cultured, highly skilled, and motivated

Paediatric Nephrourologylogy is the context of ante-natally diagnosed hydronephrosis; the vast majority of children with a dilated renal pelvis do not need any surgical treatment, as the dilatation resolves naturally with time. Slow drainage demonstrated at Tc-99m-mercaptoacetyltriglycine (MAG3) renography does not necessarily mean obstruction. Obstruction is defined as resistance to urinary outflow with urinary stasis at the level of the pelvic-ureteric junction (PUJ) which, if left untreated, will damage the kidney.

Track 08:  Urogynecology:

Urogynecology is a surgical sub-specialty of urology and gynecology. The urogynecology specialists have involvement treating all conditions of the female urinary and reproductive tract. In addition to four years of general obstetrics and gynecology training, they have three years of subspecialty exercise in women's pelvic health and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Urogynecology is also a subspecialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Robotic-assisted surgery has evolved vastly over the past two periods with persistently improving technology.

Diet and nutrition are important part of living well with kidney disease. Patients who are affected by kidney disease should be more concerned about their diet and should follow the special dietary plans. Gripping evidence shows that the incidence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is increasing because of an aging population and a higher prevalence of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hypertension. Nutrition administration of patients with CKD requires early disease recognition, appropriate interpretation of the markers and stages of CKD, and association with other health care practitioners.

Urologic oncology is the surgical treatment of hateful genitourinary diseases such as cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidneys, ureters, testicles and penis, skin and subcutaneous tissue and muscle of fascia of those areas which are dermatologically affected. The treatment of genitourinary cancer is given by either by an urologist or oncologist, based on the Clinical or Medical Treatment. In Most of the Countries urologic oncologist use Laparoscopy & Endourology to manage urologic cancers willing to surgical management

The purpose of endourology is to develop negligibly invasive techniques that can equal or surpass the results of classical open surgery. Nephroureterectomy with perimeatic cystectomy, an extensive urologic intervention, naturally determines the search for methods that reduce invasiveness. Endourological techniques have permitted the elimination of one of the two incisionsrequired for classical interventions, permitting less invasive detachment of the intramural ureter and resecting of the perimeatic vesical wall. This intervention is one of the rare situations in which an endoscopic approach only finalizes the classical surgical steps Endourology is a minimally invasive method in which small telescopes and lasers are used to treat tumours, strictures, or congenital anomalies of the bladder, ureter, and kidney.

This multidisciplinary series is aimed at offering readers many opportunities to appreciate how a clinical and decent approach to pregnancy has changed in patients with kidney diseases and with related conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and immunologic diseases. Furthermore, this series aims to focus on the fact that many issues remain unresolved, that there are massive gaps in knowledge, and that the bioethical slant needs to integrate in the clinical practice, which would allow for a deeper appreciation of different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Track 13:  Geriatric Urology

Urology is one of the surgical fields that has been most exaggerated by the growing demographic of older adults in the United States. Urological problems are common in elderly people, and care of patients aged 65 and older represents a large proportion of many urologists' practices. However, this has also presented unique challenges to the development of the field of geriatric urology as an identified subspecialty. Until recently, formal educational requirements and opportunities in geriatric urology were limited.

Track 14:  Neuronephrology :

Renal failure is relatively common, but except in suggestion with spine bifida or paraplegia it is unlikely to occur as a result of disease of the CNS. Renal failure, however, commonly affects the nervous system. The effects of kidney failure on the nervous system are more definite when failure is acute. In two of the most commonly encountered genetically determined diseases, Von Hippel-Lindau disease and polycystic kidney disease, location of pathogenic mutations will provide improved screening programmes and, possibly, allow therapeutic intervention.

Track 15:  Hepato-Nephrology

Hepato-nephrology is the field that deals with how the liver disease is affecting the kidney function. Heptorental syndrome is the medical condition that occurs in patients suffering from fulminant liver failure, alcoholic hepatitisand cirrhosis which results in rapid decline of kidney function with an pollution, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract or overuse of diuretics. Patients shows other symptoms like jaundice, altered mental status, evidence of decreased nutrition, the presence of ascites and elevated pressures in the portal vein system, elevated pressures in the portal vein system

Urology has emerged at the forefront of surgical robotics, organized by the increasing use of the device surgical system for robotic assisted prostatectomy. More than 400 device robots are now in use worldwide, most of which are based in North America. Widespread media coverage has enlarged patient awareness of the possibilities that robotic surgery offers and has led to a market driven demand for robotic surgery for some procedures. The dramatic evolution of robotic surgery over the past 10 years is likely to be eclipsed by even greater advances over the next decade. We review the current status of robotic technology in urology.

Technological advancements have a lot of impact in the quality of life. Life has been made simpler and better. In nephrology many techniques have been established for the creation of artificial kidney, and for the surgeries.  Machineries like stem cell technique in which the human stem cells have the ability to regenerate the kidney and these stem cells have stem cell banks where it can be deposited and used several times. New and better advancements have been made in surgical equipment one such example is Laparoscopic Nephrectomy is safe and helps in the removal of diseased kidney. Laparosopic nephrectomy is a marginally invasive surgery technique, which gives patients good results equivalent when compared to large incision which requires traditional open surgery. When compared to conventional open surgery, earlier return to work, a shorter hospital stay and easier return to our daily activities make minimally invasive surgeries one of the favourite ways of surgery.
